I did what now? Lol.
So I took the leap of faith and tendered my position at Flight Centre last Friday. Ok for someone who’s saving up for a wedding, paying bills for a car, credit cards, IPL, mobile phone etc., I did a pretty bold move to quit before securing myself a new job. This is by far the most #yolo thing I’ve done in the longest time.
Luq was already on his toes asking me whether I can get a job soon because who’s gonna help him pay for the car and my IPL sessions (I smartly put this on his card instead of mine!!!). That boy doesn’t know how to chill. I mean don’t get me wrong, I’m worried too but I’m also a big believer of everything will be okay, somehow. Just have faith in Him and In Shaa Allah, it will work out.
On a happier note, I had my phone interview with LinkedIn this morning. I don’t remember applying for a position there but apparently, I did. It was a pleasant surprise because I saw that the position has over 150 applicants and I’m one of the few to be selected for a phone interview. Let’s pray that it will go well. I’ve been to LinkedIn Singapore office for a seminar before, it looked pretty cool and modern – bright white lights and large spaces. Don’t mind at all 🙂
I’m also thinking of taking some courses to add to my skill set – thank you garmen for sponsoring $500 SkillsFuture Credit in all our accounts!
On the same Friday, Luq got his hair cut after more than 1 month. It was such a happy day until we were caught up in the jam to jaybee. No jaybee on Friday and Saturday. BOO!
